TREE REmoval and Pruning

Risk Assessment and Preventative Care

Gravity Works Tree Service supports the wildlife ecosystems that our trees and forests create and maintain. They are intrinsically valuable to our land. We also have to be mindful of the risk they pose to our homes.

Our Tree Risk Assessment Approach

Preventative Care

Examples of pruning objectives:

  • THINNING BRANCH STRUCTURE

  • CUTTING DEAD WOOD

  • SELECTING FOR GROWTH PATTERNS

  • EXECUTING CROWN REDUCTION

We use low impact tree care techniques that limit risk factors on lawns, surrounding trees, and your home.

Based on health and circumstance, pruning could be a smarter option than a full tree removal.

Pruning is best done in the months when trees are dormant. A healthy tree stores most of it’s energy in the branch tips so heavy pruning in summer time is considered bad practice. If you have pruning needs, plan for winter and early spring. We understand that sometimes the work has to get done regardless of season though, and we offer an informed evaluation year round.
